BELOW: This ad appeared in the April 9, 1939 Racine Sunday Bulletin. To raise
money for new bugles, the Racine Roma Lodge Drum and Bugle Corps sold tickets on
a new Nash Lafayette automobile. The car was raffled off on April 15 at the Roma
Lodge which was then located at 2017 Mead Street in Racine. The Racine Roma
Lodge Drum and Bugle Corps, organized in 1929, had a membership of 52 plus four
drum majors in 1939. Louis Giacinti was the Corps Director.
