Professionally made videos of the Kilties that are still available for purchase:

The 1979 WGI World Championship finals which includes the Kilties Color
Guard finals performance is still available on VHS "while supplies last" from WGI

2.  Drum Corps International (DCI) still has available in their "Legacy Collection" the
DCI World Championship finals on DVD from 1975, 1977 and 1978.  All three
include the complete finals performance of the Kilties for each of those three years in
addition to the complete performances of the other finalists.  DCI's "Legacy
Collection" DVD for 1974 includes a performance excerpt of the Racine Kilties from
the Midwest Championships.

This DVD set  features the performances of eight of the twelve finalists at the 1972
DCI Championships in Whitewater, WI.  The eight finalists on this DVD set are:  
Anaheim Kingsmen, Blue Stars, Santa Clara Vanguard, 27th Lancers, Argonne
Rebels, Racine Kilties, St. Andrew's Bridgemen and the Blue Raeders.  As a bonus
the 1971 Troopers are also included.  The original reel-to-reel videotapes were filmed
by the Troopers Founder/Director Jim Jones.  Although this was filmed in black and
white, the picture and sound quality is excellent!  All proceeds will go to the
Troopers.  This DVD set will also be available for purchase at the Troopers souvenir
stand beginning in 2007.

Out-of-print Drum Corps International videos that included the Kilties:

1.
 The 1979 Racine Kilties' DCI Championship prelim performance was available on
VHS, high camera only.

2.  A 1974 Drum Corps International video of a TV special called "Competitive Drum
Corps" was available on VHS and included a performance excerpt of the 1973 Racine
Kilties.

3.  A 1975 Drum Corps International video of a TV special called  "Best of the
Midwest" was available on VHS and included a performance excerpt of the 1974
Racine Kilties.

These out-of-print DCI VHS video tapes occasionally show up in auctions on eBay.

BOOKS:

"DRUM CORPS INTERNATIONAL, The First 35 Years In Photos" is now available
(June, 2007).  This book contains more than 2,100 photographs from the archives of
Drum Corps World magazine and this book contains more than 350 pages.  Order

"A History of Drum & Bugle Corps - Volume 2" which was published by
Drum
Corps World
magazine is still available.  This book features more than 1,400
photographs and is 432 pages long.  This book features the history of the Racine
Kilties, Racine Boys of 76 and Racine Scouts along with other histories of the
activities most prominent drum corps.  The cost is $30.00 plus shipping and can be

NOTE:  "A History of Drum & Bugle Corps - Volume 1" sold out very quickly.  Only
2,500 copies were printed of each volume and I believe that Volume 2 is now very
close to being sold out too.  I've only seen one copy of Volume 1 auctioned off on
eBay  and it attracted a lot of bidders.
Currently available CD's:

 Drum Corps World magazine has been releasing a series of   
historic compact discs called "The Beat Goes On"  since 2003.  
The CD's listed below are the only CD's in this series released
so far that have Drum and Bugle Corps from Racine on them.   
These are previously unreleased professional recordings.  Since
the initial release of this series in 2003, 12 additional new titles
have been released each spring and 12 additional new tiles have
been released each fall making 112 total CD's now available in
the series.

a recording of the 1962 Woodstock, IL Contest.  For some
reason this contest also substituted for the Illinois VFW State
Championship in 1962 for the Illinois drum corps that
competed there.)

#6503 - 1965 Allegheny County Fair (Pittsburgh, PA)

#6601 - Three Discs; Two Shows; One Stadium, Volume 1
(This is the Stetson Richmond recording of the Kilties at the
1966 "Dream" contest in Jersey City, NJ and not the Fleetwood
Records recording.  They both recorded this contest.)

(This is the Stetson Richmond recording of the Kilties at the
1966 VFW Nationals finals contest in Jersey City, NJ and not
